Tourism reshape its Advisory Committee for tour operators

President-General of the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities Prince Sultan bin Salman, issued a decree restructuring of the Advisory Committee for tour operators in the Kingdom, the Commission is composed of 13 representatives from tour operators licensed to them, in addition to the three members of the body as "observers", and continue the work of the Committee for a year .
General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities and explained that the decision comes within the body program, in order to raise the level of tour operators, to perform their roles in support of domestic tourism, due to the need to work at this stage for the development of domestic tourism, according to a statement issued by the Tourism Authority.
The Committee aims to develop Activity organizing tours, and ensure a distinctive service and discuss the problems, faced by Activity organizing tours, and participate in the development of standards and procedures for tour operators license, and follow-up and evaluation of their performance, in addition to stimulating the citizens to take advantage offered by tourism programs to provide for the effort and time The money tourists, tourist packages through programmed in advance through the tour organizer, what contributes to the diversification of the tourist experience in various regions of the Kingdom.
The Commission indicated that the Commission will provide technical advice to tour operators, and to participate in the collection and preparation of research, and the dissemination of information concerning the activities of the organization of trips, as well as policies and plans, in order to motivate investors to join this activity, and propose incentives and methods of support for the growth of their activities.
Re-formation of this committee, comes in the context of the Commission's attention not to monopolize opinion or suggestion age regulations and controls without the involvement of stakeholders, whether government or private sectors or individuals.
